According to the Latina magazine website, the couple married on Wednesday, April 30. Sources close to Cannon claim the nuptials were "very impulsive" and the ceremony was attended by rapper DaBrat.
Carey's engagement ring - a $2.5 million, 17-carat whopper - looks strikingly similar to the ring given to Cannon ex-fiance Selita Ebanks. So similar that rumors began to fly that the singers's ring was recycled. Jewelery bosses at Jacob & Co, however, have confirmed they designed the ring recently - especially for Carey. It features 58 intense pink diamonds and two half-moon diamonds on each side, according to In Touch magazine.
Carey has been married once before to Columbia Records executive Tommy Mottola. The marriage lasted five years - from 1993 to 1998. Cannon, who at 27 is 11 years younger than Carey, called off his engagement to model Selita Ebanks last year.
