Since her arrival on the public scene in 2001, singer/songwriter Alicia Keys has managed to achieve superstar status while maintaining a relatively clean image. Recently, however, rumors have begun to circulate, implicating the Grammy winner in an affair that may have caused the demies of a 4-year marriage.

R&B singer Mashonda, the wife of music producer Swizz Beatz, had this to say about Keys:<--more-->

“[Alicia Keys] is her own woman and she has made her own choices. I don't have a problem with her. I will say this though, I am not a scorned woman. I have a responsibility to raise [my son], he's my number one priority and everyday I strive more for him and of course my music.”

Mashonda and Swizz - born Kasseem Dean - were married in 2004 and news of their separation surfaced in April of this year. Despite a likely divorce, the two reportedly maintain an amicable relationship and are both active in the life of their one-year-old son, Kasseem Jr.
