The Tupac Shakur Statue Vandal Speaks Out

The man who defaced the rap legend's memorial statue at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts in Stone Mountain, Georgia last year has released a manifesto in an attempt to justify his criminal behavior.
Kenneth Anthony Wilson stated: “Yes I defaced that statue of Tupac Shakur because the center is a cancer on the community. For we reap what we sow… Tupac Shakur is no messiah, that’s why when he stuck his dumbass on his album cover and claimed he was not disrespecting Jesus Christ, God crucified his evil ass before the album came out.”
According to All Hip Hop, he goes on to attack Afeni Shakur, the slain rappers' mother:
“Tupac Shakur is not only a rapist and murderer of his own people, his center of the arts is in the business of molesting the young minds of our youths into believing that Thug Life is the American Dream,” Wilson says. “Since Afeni Shakur insists on lying to the youth at her center that her son is the Messiah and he died for the sake of them…So she resurrects a statue of Tupac Shakur dressed as a reverend with the Holy Bible in his right hand… Death Row Records did not destroy Tupac Shakur; smoking crack when he was in her womb did! Tupac Shakur was not only weak he was a complete fool who never for one minute practiced what he preached.”
The 43 year old was arrested on October 22nd, 2007 for vandalizing Tupac's statue. Hate crime charges were dropped due to the fact that Wilson is African American himself, All Hip Hop reports.
Wilson states that his actions should be excused because he feels they were completely justified: “I have every intention of proving in a court of law not only the hypocrisy of the Tupac Shakur center, but also its immorality, injustice, and illegality.”

WOW!THEY SHOULD HAVE HUNG KENNETH ANTHONY WILSON FOR HIM BEING BLACK & COMMITING SUCH A CRIME. IF THAT ASSHOLE DID HIS RESEARCH ON TUPAC HE SHOULD KNOW THAT BEFORE THE MEDIA DESTROYED HIS IMAGE HE WAS A CONSCIOUS RAPPER.HE WAS ONE OF BEST LEADERS THAT WE AS A PEOPLE NEEDED AT THAT TIME.HE GOT A LOT OF US WHO WAS LISTENING WORD 4 WORD 2 WAKE ON REALITY AND SHOWIN US THT THINGS STILL AINT RIGHT.THOSE DEVILS KILLED HIM CAUSE HE FINALLY GOT OUR PEOPLE TO WAKE UP FROM THIS DEEP SLEEP WE ARE IN. THEY MADE HIM LOOK LIKE THIS HORRIBLE THUG ICON.THIS MAN WAS VERY SMART AND POWERFUL. HE WENT BACK 2 SCHOOL 2 LEARN HIS NATIVE LANGUAGE(SWHAILI)HE CARED SO MUCH FOR HIS OWN PEOPLE. I am a fan of Tupac, but to say he died for the youth is a little of a stretch. Yes he was talented, but he definitely was no Messiah. His death was very tragic and we lost one of the best in Hip Hop, but I just am not sure the vestments of the statue.
