British supermodel, Naomi Campbell is having a very bad week. First, her airport shananigans earlier this year resulted in an assault charge last week. Now, a close friend of hers has revealed to the press that the beauty is going bald.

According the fashion photographer Huggy Ragnarsson, 38-year-old Campbell started losing her hair 15 years ago. The model's weave habit is to blame for the hair loss says Ragnarsson. She was warned about the risks, but chose to ignore them, reports NY Daily News.

"That’s been happening for a while," Ragnarsson said. "The hair stylist Sam McKnight said to me in the '90s, 'She'd better be careful with those weaves, she's going to lose her hair.'"
