Foxy Brown Pleads Guilty in Blackberry Assault Case

Breaking News: TMZ is reporting that Foxy Brown has entered a guilty plea in an assault case involving her Brooklyn neighbor and a fiercely-placed Blackberry telephone.

Brown plead guilty to one misdemeanor charge of menacing in Brooklyn Criminal Court today, and the prosecution threw out the felony assault charge stemming from the 2007 incident, in which Foxy allegedly smacked Arlene Raymond with the phone. The two were arguing about the noise made by the rapper's car stereo.

Brown, born Inga Marcharnd, was sentenced to time served, and a letter of apology was submitted. Foxy's legal woe's, which have haunted her for the past two years, seem to finally be drawing to close.

On May 5 a court recording error caused a bench warrant to be issued for Foxy's arrest. The matter was quickly cleared up, but not before causing a news buzz. The rapper had just been out of prison two weeks, after serving eight monthes of a year-long sentence, when the mistake was made.
